Map everything.

Scanaro is a UK technology start-up developing next-generation 3D scanning hardware and building a dataset of measured vehicle interiors.

A real vehicle interior scan, rendered live in your browser

Measuring the inside of a vehicle still takes hours of manual work. We're developing hardware that captures it in minutes, and turning every scan into data that's ready to use.

Technology

From capture to data

  1. Line drawing of a vehicle seen from above, with three points where the scanner is placed, in the boot, rear cabin and front cabin, and a scan sweeping out from the boot.
    1

    Capture

Scanning hardware designed to map a complete vehicle interior in minutes, without markers or specialist operators.

  2. The scanned load space seen from above, with amber contour lines tracing the shape of its usable space at several heights.
    2

    Measure

Each scan becomes a clean, scaled 3D model of the whole interior, from openings and clearances to the full usable volume.

  3. Concept of the vehicle library: a searchable grid of vehicle types, each shown as a 3D point cloud of its load space.
    3

    Build the dataset

Each scan joins a searchable library of interior geometry, making vehicle data easier to find and use.

Vehicle data

Vehicle space, defined.

Every surface, intrusion and opening, and the usable space between them, delivered as full volumetric data in minutes.

Applications

Starting with vehicles. Built for any space.

  1. Now

    Vehicle conversion

Wheelchair-accessible vehicle converters, campervan builders and commercial vehicle upfitters, who measure every new base vehicle by hand.

  2. Next

    Fitment and logistics

Matching products and loads to measured vehicle space, for retailers, manufacturers and logistics teams.

  3. Later

    Spatial mapping

Applying the same capture approach to other spaces that are slow and costly to measure.

Free trial scans

Try it on one of your vehicles.

We're offering a small number of free trial scans to UK vehicle converters and manufacturers, starting in early 2027.

  • We scan

The full interior of one of your vehicles, captured with our prototype.

  • You receive

The 3D model and volumetric data for that vehicle, ready to use in your own design work.

  • We ask

Honest feedback on the data and how it fits the way you work.
